About This Strain
We took a select cutting of Wedding crashers (Wedding Cake x Purple Punch) that tested high for potency and crossed it with a selection of Gelato that showed an above average terpene profile. Dense potent flowers with a strong fruity nose resulted. This cross brings a grapey vanilla cake terp profile to your field with a soft fuel undertone. The flowering time on this Gelato cross is a tad longer due to the shared wedding cake lineage. We called this variety Divorce Cake because its got cake lineage, and we thought it was funny. Not everyone thinks it's funny though turns out. This took a little longer to finish flowering than some of my other Gelato crosses, but the end result is spectacular. The Wedding Cake lineage really shows in the dense, trichome-laden bud structure. It smells just like sweet cream and candy, and the name always makes my garden visitors laugh.
The smell is amazing, leaning heavily into vanilla cake and sweet grape candy on the backend. Be prepared for a somewhat lengthy flowering period compared to your standard photoperiod hybrids though. It is a solid, high-yielding strain, but you definitely need some patience.
I popped these seeds a few months ago and the terpene profile is absolutely insane. You really get that heavy, grapey vanilla cake sweetness with just a hint of fuel at the end of the exhale. The buds are incredibly dense and frosted, making this a high-potency hybrid that is well worth the wait.
